This villa is named after my son Saylor, who is blessed with a very handsome and infectious smile, a heart and spirit that has no end and the vision to see the sun shining in a storm. Villa Umaki-Ha is decorated in soft earthtones, hardwoods and stone Imagine the privacy of this luxury ocean front home in combination with all the services and amemities of a 5 Star hotel. We offer amenities such as professional massage and spa therapists, concierge, chef services, babysitting, 24 hour security, high speed wireless internet and much more. What a perfect combination. The only thing you should need to bring is a bathing suit!

Villa Umaki-Ha is one of 3 luxury villas and large Event Palapa w/ on site Chef/Spa Services on the Private Estate of Hacienda del Secreto. Hacienda del Secreto is a Private Estate consisting of 3 luxury oceanfront villas and our event palapa. This secluded compound was created and just recently completed for the private use of our family and as a private corporate vacation retreat for our corporate executives and associates with their families. When availability permits, we would be happy to share our piece of paradise with your family and friends as a vacation rental. Inviting, crystal clear Caribbean waters and powder white sand fringe Playa del Secreto, the most beautiful beach along the Riviera Maya. The beach stretches over a mile along the blue ocean, with only a dozen upscale homes dotted along the water's edge. Wild mangrove and freshwater pools attract beautiful birds, and healthy reef is home to spectacular tropical Caribbean sea life.

The tranquil beach is just 20 minutes from Cancun and 15 minutes from Playa del Carmen, making it the perfect central point for exploring Mexico's attractions - Mayan ruins, world class diving, sports fishing and more. Playa del Secreto means "Secret Beach" in Spanish, and a secret is what this beautiful residential community remains. This is a private community of homeowners, committed to preserving Playa del Secreto as a peaceful, tranquil, private location by controlling growth and development of the beach.

Playa del Secreto Beach Characteristics

• Over a mile of soft, white, powder-like sand.
• Good Shelling on north end of beach
• Good Snorkeling in calm water on far south end of beach where there are rocks and coral.
• Abundant Sea life of turtles, lobsters, octopus, rays, many varieties of fish, starfish etc.
• Gradual slope into water, no drop-offs, no rocks except at far south end of beach.
• Days with wind provides great boogie boarding or body surfing in the waves.
• Great Surf Fishing
• Many underwater fresh water springs from the underground rivers and therefore it has been said that this is the reason we never see sharks.
• Beach is completely free of vendors and crowds
• Only a very few up-scale villas on the entire beach.

As the overall planner for this trip, I had several balls in the air and had to deal with most of the issues that arose. This is a magical place with many activities and a kind and helpful staff. it is Mexico at it's finest. the fear stirred up by international press is totally unfounded in this area of the Yucatan. there is no fear of the swine flu. the area has a warm welcome feeling that draws you in to doing more activities in the surrounding area. you will be sure to enjoy the beautiful exotic jungle environment and the crystal clear Caribbean water. the staff, on request, will prepare fabulous gourmet meals. it is a secure and peaceful haven that we encourage you to visit.
