Palapa Papa Jack Virtual Tours

Palapa Papa Jack is the heart of our Estate. It is our event location, activities center and private kitchen for our Chef and his staff. Palapa Papa Jack is a 75 foot tall spectacular thatched and authentic Mayan built Palapa with a magnificent waterfall at the entrance and a natural cenote beside it. It is our place for activities such as table soccer, ping pong, chess, karaoke, private parties and much more. Palapa Papa Jack also has 2 individual suites for those guests who do not need an entire villa or for those guests who just need an extra room or two for their large family or party. Palapa Pap Jack a is named after my dear stepfather Jack, who believed in me and his investment, which has become our beloved and beautiful "Family Estate". His love and generosity is not only felt by our family but by all who are privilege to stay here. I am certain that you will appreciate and love his creation as much as our entire family does.

Palapa Papa Jack is our Event Center for weddings, parties and events. Palapa Papa Jack is also has a kitchen for our private chef on the lower level.

The palapa has 2 suites on the 2nd level that are connected by a swinging bridge across the center of the Palapa. One of the suites has a king bed with a jacuzzi bath, rock waterfall and kitchenette with microwave, mini refrigerator and coffee maker. The second suite has 3 bunk beds with 2 bathrooms, cable tv.

Both suites have balconies with beach view, and open decorative ceilings with netting only for ventilation and view of the interior of the tall, majestic palapa ceiling. Both suites also have ceiling fans, no A/C.

Palapa Papa Jack has table soccer, electronic wall basketball game, darts, table tennis, satellite TV, Karaoke, etc. available for guest use.

Palapa Papas Jack is part of a villa complex with on site Chef/Spa Services on the Private Estate of Hacienda del Secreto. Hacienda del Secreto is a Private Estate consisting of 3 luxury oceanfront villas and our event palapa. This secluded compound was created and just recently completed for the private use of our family and as a private corporate vacation retreat for our corporate executives and associates with their families. When availability permits, we would be happy to share our piece of paradise with your family and friends as a vacation rental. Our well trained staff has had the privaledge to pamper various celebrities, let our staff pamper you next.

Playa del Secreto Beach Characteristics

• Over a mile of soft, white, powder-like sand.
• Good Shelling on north end of beach
• Good Snorkeling in calm water on far south end of beach where there are rocks and coral.

Guest Comments

We have a large immediate family of 5 children and spouses, and 13 grandchildren (and now one grandson spouse). In July 2010, 22 and sometimes 24 of this immediate family attended a granddaughter's wedding in the Cancun area and spent a great week at the Casa Del Secreto Resort. The resort is on the ocean waterfront with very good security. We were housed in 3 different but adjacent buildings in the complex which offered an excellent combination of privacy and togetherness in the common areas. We had 2 full kitchens, living /dining areas, and 9 bedrooms (2 palacial suites with outstanding ocean views) with private baths as well as access to the common area of the Palapa Jack building. The Resort offered a wide variety of outdoor and indoor activities which provided something of interest to everyone including the teenagers and young adults. We were able to prepare meals if we wished, had excellent maid service and enjoyed 2 exceptionally good dinners in the Palapa Jack facility prepared by the Resort staff for our group. The employees were courteous and friendly and went out of their way to satisfy our wishes and needs. It was a great week for our family!

This is a magical place with many activities and a kind and helpful staff. it is Mexico at it's finest. the fear stirred up by international press is totally unfounded in this area of the Yucatan. there is no fear of the swine flu. the area has a warm welcome feeling that draws you in to doing more activities in the surrounding area. you will be sure to enjoy the beautiful exotic jungle environment and the crystal clear Caribbean water. the staff, on request, will prepare fabulous gourmet meals. it is a secure and peaceful haven that we encourage you to visit.
